- The development of novel 2D halide perovskite materials and their evaluation in device structures (e.g., transistors, detectors, LEDs, solar cells).
- The influence of the interfaces in these devices on performance and stability, and the synthesis of novel interlayer materials.
- Gaining control over the crystallization of 2D halide perovskites.
- Design and synthesis of novel chiral perovskites.
- Development of a machine learning interatomic potential for crystal structure prediction of 2D halide perovskites.
