With an outstanding team of more than 130 researchers and technicians, 2000 m2 devoted to R&D and the most advanced resources in hardware and software, the CVC holds an international reputation for innovative research and technology transfer in the field of Computer Vision.   • Prior experience in research in any Computer Vision topic (5 years minimum). Priority will be given to lines not currently covered at the Computer Vision Centre, or complementary lines (Robotics, Foundation Models for CV, Trustworty CV, etc…)
  • Previous experience of supervising PhDstudents.
  • Multiple publications in top computer vision/ML venues (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICLR, ICML, NeurIPS).
  • Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of Spanish and/or Catalan would be advantageous, as well as the commitment to achieve the necessary communicative levels in both languages.
  • Proven ability to succesfully obtain and lead large-scale, collaborative (international) projects.

Prior experience in knowledge transfer and collaboration with industry will be positively valued.Competences * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Selection processThe selection will be carried out through a competitive examination system consisting of the following phases: * Curriculum Analysis: Evaluation of previous experience and/or scientific history, degree, training, and other professional information relevant to the position by an internal scientific committee.

  • Interview phase 1: The highest-rated candidates at the curriculum level will be invited to the interview phase (which could be online), conducted by the recruitment panel. In this phase, technical competencies, knowledge, skills, and professional experience related to the position, as well as the required personal competencies, will be evaluated.
  • Interview phase 2: the pre-selected candidates will be invited to CVC to meet the recruitment panel in person and will be asked to conduct an internal seminar.
