If so, we are looking for somebody to join our team as a Cardiometabolic Sales Director at Novo Nordisk and be part of our growth Journey in our Irish Affiliate!

The Position

In this role you will have the opportunity to align and prioritize sales objectives, and support data-driven decision-making across various departments.

You will drive the development and implementation of go-to-market and sales strategies, foster cross-functional collaboration, and lead a high-performing team to achieve ambitious sales targets and commercial excellence.

You will also:

-Manage, coach, and develop the Cardiometabolic sales force unit, fostering cross-functional collaboration to achieve all relevant KPIs for sales and commercial excellence.
-As part of the Leadership Team, co-develop and implement commercial strategies and local initiatives to maximize the Novo Nordisk Cardiometabolic business potential.
-Drive the definition and monitoring of shared performance KPI’s, that will steer the teams performance
-Oversee the implementation of new ways of working with digital data collection, CRM utilization, and customer-centric communication, and ensure compliance with SOPs, local regulations, and ethical standards.
-Be fully accountable for the execution of go-to-market sales strategy design, delivery, and execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

-Master’s degree in business or a related field.
–a-
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
 , a strong sales background preferably in the pharmaceutical industry and in the Irish Market.
–a-
Proven leadership and direct managerial experience
 with strong team coaching abilities.
-Proficiency in leveraging CRM/sales force performance insights and managing digital customer interactions.
-Demonstrated success in product launches and executing marketing strategies across multiple brands.
-Experience in a multi-national, matrix-structured environment with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

About the Department

As line manager of two national sales managers, you will head up the sales department. You will be part of a highly competent and collaborative leadership team  across the different functional areas within the organization. You will work closely with the Commercial Strategy Director on with what and how to go-to-market with our products in promotion, and report directly to the Vice President and General Manager of the Irish affiliate.
