To better serve our customers and develop our response agility to the market, we have set, as a company, the objective to increase the convergence of our different processes and governances focused on demand management and business projections (Sales & Operations Planning, Financial planning, Risks & Opportunities management) at local, regional and global levels.

In order to support this cross functional transformation, at worldwide scale, we are actively looking for a Project Manager to handle the technical aspects of this project from scoping to execution.

As Project Manager, you will join the Supply Chain Performance team. The team is accountable for the robustness and efficiency of Supply processes, drives Supply Chain transformation through a roadmap of projects worldwide, with the objective of improving customer satisfaction and processes efficiency.

In order to manage the S&OP IBP project (code name ONE PLAN), you will work in close partnership with the project leaders, senior managers in their respective functional departments, who will collectively handésdle the strategic dimension of the project with you (high level scoping, functional guidelines and objectives, key design decisions, executive management reporting and promotion to the business entities involved), you will have a functional reporting line to them.

You will develop partnership as well with the different workpackage leaders assigned to specific functional streams (ie Sales, Marketing, Finance, IS, Supply Chain…) of the target process and animate the project core team to ensure a successful collaborative achievement of the project objectives.

What will be your responsibilities within bioMérieux ?

As a Project Manager, you will ensure the following missions:

  • Co-deliver with the project leaders the scoping elements: formalized objectives and scope, high level planning, phasing, resources plan, target objectives and risks plan.
  • Create and maintain the project framework all along the project: governance & routine, project roles & responsibilities, role assignments, workload estimates and tracking, template documents, risks trackers, communication & change plan.
  • Set the project drum beat by animating its routine, setting up and co-animating key workshops and sessions in each workpackage with leaders and key users involved. Actively contribute to design phase with the project team and ensure its consistency with the company business objectives, highlight hot points or risks requiring an escalation process.
  • Define and execute the change plan, identifying the roles and functions of the organization impacted by the project, providing information and training upstream, addressing questions and concerns.
  • Actively contribute to the deployment of the new process in the business teams, support its stabilization, measure how the targets are reached in terms of performance and adoption.
  • Manage the project reporting:
  • By maintaining and deploying the communication plan across the company (newsletters, events, mailings, etc…) to promote the project ambition, explain the target process and benefits, give visibility on current status and coming steps.
  • By animating the core team with project and workpackages leaders, tracking action plans progress and key issues resolution
  • By building the steering committee material and co animating the instance with the project leaders

In key phases, you will integrate to your project the support of external consultants to support critical steps of design making or implementation requiring additional skills or resources.

While the first design steps of your project will focus on process design, roles & responsibilities assignments, you will anticipate how they will be supported in a later phase by new information systems to facilitate the different activities related to data management (statistical modelization, navigation, quantities valuation, alerts) and collaborative decision making (assessment, qualification, scenarization…). This system design & implementation will progressively integrate the scope of your project and your perimeter of accountabilities.

Who are you?

  • Master Degree, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a function involving you significantly in Business Planning and/or Demand Management processes in an international industrial context.
