Job Overview:

As a knowledgeable and customer-focused Agriculture Channel Sales Engineer to the regional channel team, you will primarily be responsible for training partners, understanding product capabilities, and handling escalated technical support cases.

You will work closely with the sales team to identify and develop new sales opportunities while conducting thorough product analyses to ensure effective market positioning. Your will be involved collaborating closely with channel partners, offering technical guidance, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the agricultural sector across designated local regions. You will report directly to the Technical Sales Manager, EMEA/CIS.

This position is a remote position in Italy.

Your Impact

-Collaborate closely with the Channel Sales Manager to understand the specific technical requirements of the agricultural products and effectively communicate these requirements to channel partners and end customers.
-Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical workshops to educate channel partners and end customers on the features and applications of our agricultural solutions.
-Assist the sales team by providing technical insights and support during customer interactions, product demonstrations, and training sessions.
-Addressing inquiries, resolving technical issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
-Provide technical guidance and support to channel partners.
-Work with the engineering and product development teams to relay customer feedback, identify product improvement opportunities, and contribute to developing effective solutions tailored to the agricultural sector.
-Participate in relevant agriculture industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility, build networks, and stay updated with the latest agricultural practices and technologies.
 

Your Experience and Qualifications

-Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, Product Manager or assistant, or other technical role within the agriculture industry, with a strong understanding of agricultural products and practices.
-Good competencies or experience in precision farming.
-Proven track record of successful sales achievements and building solid relationships with agricultural channel partners and customers.
-Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical agricultural information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
-Fluent Italian and English language skills.
-Sound knowledge of crop management practices, agricultural equipment, and precision farming technologies relevant to the local regions.
-Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets and objectives within the agriculture sector.
-Proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
-Willingness to travel within designated local regions as needed to meet with agricultural channel partners and customers and attend relevant industry events.
-Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and other relevant sales and marketing tools.
