Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionChapter Lead External Collaborations – Event ManagementThe OpportunityAs a Chapter Lead in the RSS External Collaborations Team (ECE), you will supervise a team of Event Managers in the area of collaborations with Healthcare Professionals (HCP), Healthcare organizations (HCO) and Patient Communities, providing operational support to several R&D and commercial Networks such as Product Development (PD), Product Development & Medical Affairs (PDMA), Global Product Strategy (GPS), Pharma International (PI) in Healthcare Professionals engagements. You will hold the accountability of your chapters continuous improvement and the team’s performance, delivery and results.In this role, you will also constantly drive the end-to-end Process Oversight, Improvement, Monitoring & Control and ensure high quality execution so that all HCP and patient related collaboration work is coordinated effectively and efficiently across all Partners. You will build and maintain a trusted relationship with your Partners and ensure a robust event plan, ensuring the delivery of ethical, high quality and cost effective projects are in line with the event objectives. As a true leader and member of the ECE Leadership team you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our organization. You act as a Coach of your team of experts, developing an environment where ideas are welcomed and ensuring a feedback continuous improvement culture is part of the team’s DNA.Strategic LeadershipLeads the long-term Chapter strategy in line with overall company strategy and manages process service quality, governance, and business satisfaction.Advance the capabilities of the Chapter and support the transformation and scale-up of services.Ensure that Chapter activities increase business impact.Team Management and DevelopmentEnsure the team is staffed and equipped adequately while empowering them to deliver personal and organizational goals as a self-aligning team.Coach and mentor Chapter members to support their development goals.Lead the performance management cycle for Chapter members, seeking, evaluating, and acting on feedback in alignment with P&C People Practices.Identify, attract, and develop talent to maintain business continuity and grow capabilities.Continuous Improvement and LearningActively drives and contributes to process standardization and harmonization across Chapter and department.Who You AreBachelor/Master degree in Business Administration is preferred, certified meeting professional-healthcare is preferred.8+ years of experience in Event Management of mid-size to big-scale congresses/events.4+ years of experience in people leadership and pharmaceuticals industry.Strong in organizational and process excellence to drive change and transform complex processes.Exhibit VACC and servant leadership behavior.Ability to lead teams, empowering and coaching team members to achieve personal and organizational goals.Ability to identify, attract, and develop talent within and outside of the organization.Strong sense of prioritization, flexibility to organize expertise around business requirements, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to build trust and productive relationships, fluent in English with good communication and presentation skills.In exchange we provide you withDevelopment opportunities: Roche is rich in learning resources.
