The patients. For them, we research, develop and manufacture innovative therapies against serious illnesses using living resources. This approach is based on cutting-edge technologies, such as human genetics, which make it possible to characterize the molecular mechanisms at the origin of diseases. Amgen focuses its research on pathologies where medical needs remain significant.

With 18 drugs and numerous partnership initiatives, Amgen is working to advance the treatment of cancer, cardiovascular, inflammatory, renal diseases and the treatment of osteoporosis. With 54 active studies involving 964 patients in 294 centers (2022 figures), France is also one of the countries where Amgen has the most significant clinical research activity.

Committed to research and to patients, Amgen is just as committed to its employees!

Because we believe in a world where everyone can be themselves and play a role, Amgen France is socially committed through its Social Responsibility (http://www.amgen.fr/notre-engagement-societal/notre-demarche) program. This is how in 2021, Amgen signed its first LGBT+ charter (http://www.amgen.fr/notre-engagement-societal/notre-demarche) and was labeled, the following year, “Very High Health, Social and Environmental Quality (http://www.amgen.fr/notre-engagement-societal/diversite-et-inclusion) ”, thus making Amgen France the first labeled pharmaceutical company. We are also proud to have recently signed the Cancer and Employment charter in order to promote the retention and return to employment of our employees affected by the disease.
