Our restaurant – La Véranda – offers exquisite French, continental and contemporary brasserie cuisine complemented by a rich wine list in a precious setting with an outdoor terrace overlooking the Parc du Château de Versailles.

Our restaurant is open 7 days a week, and provides breakfast, lunch, tea time and dinner service and serves 60-65 seats per service at any time of the day.

We are looking for a M/F chef to join the fantastic kitchen team at our traditional brasserie-style restaurant.

  • Positions to be filled on permanent contracts as soon as possible
  • Salary to be defined according to profile
  • 39h/week

Your missions

  • Ensure the supply, production and control of your workstation,
  • Be responsible for your part as a whole (kitchen, product, hygiene and brigade),
  • Work and manage your section independently,
  • Take care of the garnishes and check the presentation of the dishes when they leave the kitchen,
  • Develop new recipes to add to the menu,
  • Manage stocks and orders for the section,
  • Supervise the application of standards, production procedures and HACCP hygiene standards in force within the hotel.

Required profile

  • You are a graduate of a BEP/CAP Cuisine vocational school,
  • You like rigor, organization and teamwork
  • You have experience in team management,
  • You are motivated and want to take on new challenges
  • You have already worked as a chef in a gourmet restaurant – work-study program included
  • Authorization to work in France required
