We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to oversee the accounting operations at indaHash. The Chief Accountant will ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported in a timely fashion and will play an active role in helping to develop and implement the company’s overall accounting strategy.The challenges you will meet as the Chief Accountant:Close cooperation with CFO and IDH management regarding finance department set-upDecisiveness in scheduling timelines of changes implementation within the accounting departmentResponsibility for the financial accounting of a Group of legal entities in different countries (AR, AP, GL)Cooperation with local and foreign accounting officesResponsibility for full tax and statutory reporting (VAT, CIT, withholding tax, GUS, NBPreporting)Responsibility for accounting policy and chart of accounts as well as accounting and tax procedures on local and Group levels (if needed)Preparing periodic financial statements, analyses and reports, including consolidation of Financial Statements at the Group levelLeading statutory audits and tax controls on local and Group level (if needed)Providing complete and correct financial information and data for reporting,forecasting and controlling purposes in the organisationLiaising with key stakeholders and coordinating the resolution of accounting problems with impacted businessContinuously improving and working on efficiencies of accounting and tax processesParticipating in other projects and initiatives related to accountingManaging accounting teamResponsibility for internal financial accounting (when moved from the external accounting office)Requirements:Polish at the C1 level is a must.At least five years of experience in the Accounting department and preferably at least two years in a Chief Accountant role (marketing/advertising industry would be an asset)Degree in Accounting/FinanceStrong knowledge of tax regulations (including Withholding Tax) and standards of international accountingStrong management and organisation skills in building and controlling of external accounting officesGood knowledge of accounting consolidation of FSEnglish at C1 levelGood MS Office skills and robust capabilities in MS ExcelProactive approach, accuracy, strong organisational skills, strategic thinking abilitiesGood communication and teamwork, efficiency, innovationFormer experience with multinational companies and accountancy regulations would be welcomedExperience in the brokerage and trading industry would be an assetACCA or other financial / accounting certificate would be an assetWhat we offer:Possibility to build/rebuild the accounting department on your own rulessalary matching skills and level of responsibilitylots of independence and trustwork in an excellent, engaged, dynamic and super-friendly teamimprovement, self-development and mentorship * enthusiastic, dynamic and friendly start-up working environment
