• To work as a highly specialist Clinical Psychologist / Neurolpsychologist within the Early Supported Discharge Team for Stroke as a member of an interdisciplinary team, which includes Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Dietetics, Psychology, Assistant Practitioners and Rehabilitation Technicians, providing services to adults referred to the Early Supported Discharge Team for Stroke.
• This is an interdisciplinary service specialising in the treatment and management of patients following discharge from the acute stroke pathway from the hospital.
• ASAP
• 2 months
• Up to £35 per hour depending on experience

Requirements

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
• Registered as an Applied Psychologist with HCPC
• Pre and post qualification training in specialist assessment and treatment of adults with cognitive and neurological impairments, neuropsychological assessment, research methodology, staff training and / or other fields of applied psychology.
• Postdoctoral training or equivalent experience in one or more specialised areas of psychological practice
• DBS or Police Check
• Registered with relevant goverment body (HCPC)
