We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised Clinical Research Administrator to use their knowledge and experience to support the portfolio of projects within the Epidemic diseases clinical Research Group (ERGO) at the Pandemic Science Institute, Nuffield Department of Medicine.

As a Clinical Research Administrator, your job involves the use of electronic data capture software, so familiarity with handling databases, data queries and spreadsheets are essential. You will also ensure electronic trial master files (eTMFs) are kept up to date, and prepare sites for activation. You will be responsible for assisting research activities with a level of knowledge, skills and expertise which may include participation in preparation of research documents, completing supporting paperwork. You will further provide support in project meetings and be responsible for ensuring minutes and reports are written and circulated in a timely manner. Your role will also involve managing study documentation and filing systems.

It is essential that you are educated to A-level and have a relevant experience in clinical research administraiton. You will have general administrative experience including document filing and meeting arrangement. You will have good IT skills, together with experience in using databases and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel and the ability to learn new systems. You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Certification or qualification in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) would be an advantage.
