The candidate selected for the role of Cloud Software Engineer will be based in Padova’s office (with mostly remote work) and have the following responsibilities:

  • Contributing to product development within established architectural patterns.
  • Implementing features with guidance from senior team members.
  • Participating in code reviews and providing feedback.
  • Fixing bugs and addressing technical debt.
  • Maintain and improve existing cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the hardware team to define software requirements.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud systems.
  • Up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide regular status updates.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of team’s processes and tools.

  • Experience of at least 3 years on ReactJS, Kotlin/Java and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (RDS, Fargate, and Lambda).
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS industry with hands-on experience of public cloud offerings (AWS, Azure)
  • Strong software development skills.
  • An understanding of cloud architecture patterns and an engineering discipline to produce quality software.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • A proactive and pragmatic approach to software development.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an international team environment.
  • Effective communication skills in both English and Italian.
  • Passion for working collaboratively in an agile team.
  • Curiosity and a keen interest in understanding other points of view.
  • Desire for feedback and thoughtfulness when providing feedback to others.
  • Eagerness to share knowledge and experience.
