CNC Machinist/Setter Operator – Minimum – 1 year experience
Location: Lisburn

✔ Healthcare Perks: Aviva Private Healthcare PackageAbout the RoleAs a CNC Machinist/Setter Operator, you’ll be working with cutting-edge 3 & 5-axis machine tools, including DMG Mori, Hermle, and Doosan, equipped with Heidenhain and Fanuc controls.Your tasks will include:
- Precision Setup & Operation: Configure and operate state-of-the-art CNC machines.
- Program Proving: Validate new programs and assemble tools per job tooling lists.
- Quality Control: Perform dimensional checks with instruments such as verniers, bore mics, micrometers, and gauges.
- Blueprint Mastery: Read and interpret engineering drawings to meet precise tolerances.
About YouWe’re looking for passionate individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Essential Experience:
- At least 1 year as a CNC machinist or setter/operator.
- Ability to set up and prove out programs, plus conduct basic dimensional checks.
- Proficient use of handheld inspection tools, with demonstrated competency.
- Desirable:
- An NVQ in Engineering (not essential but advantageous).
