To fuel this opportunity, we are combining our talent, capabilities, and know-how across our integrated organization.Job OverviewThe Commercial Accounting Analyst is responsible for supporting the accounting and reporting of trade investment spends across all routes to market. This role involves period-end activities, financial reporting, business partnering with teams, balance sheet management, assisting with audits, supporting projects and system upgrades, monitoring investment processes, and ad hoc requests to support the Commercial Accounting Team.Key ResponsibilitiesPeriodic:

  • Support preparation of timely period-end accounts for investment spends in line with group timetables
  • Prepare reconciliations and create periodic reports
  • Process journals when required
  • Support issue resolution and reconcile to trading contribution level
  • Manage error logs and run Financial Account Review process

Business Partnering:

  • Support training delivery to drive process compliance and best practices
  • Provide financial support and guidance to Commercial teams
  • Support channel finance team and ensure deliverables are achieved
  • Provide ad-hoc support to Commercial Accounting Manager

Audit & Control:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
  • Prepare materials for external audits related to investment spend

Requirements

  • Good understanding of financial & accounting principles
  • Proficient in Excel (SUMIFS, VLOOKUPS, PIVOT tables)
  • Excellent communicator to articulate finance concepts clearly
  • Experience with MS Office, SAC, Kantar, SAP R3
  • Proactive with personable communication style
  • Ability to identify issues and problem-solve
  • Disciplined approach
  • FMCG background preferred

Education/QualificationPart Qualified & actively studying (other financial qualifications will also be considered)
