This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, coupled with relevant certifications and comprehensive experience in compliance, internal controls, and audit facilitation.Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA, or similar) are preferred.

Experience:

  • Extensive experience in compliance, internal controls (SOX, JSOX), audit support, and process optimization.
  • Proven ability in controls maintenance, self-assessment, and rationalization.
  • Demonstrated track record in implementing and managing IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC).
  • Experience in process automation and system customization is an asset

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of control design and optimization.
  • Proficiency in process automation tools and methodologies.
  • Expertise in user access management systems and segregation of duties protocols.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Ability to identify inefficiencies, non-compliance issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate risks and impacts of control mechanisms.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and training.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and external parties.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional projects and change initiatives.

Organizational Abilities:

  • Aptitude for organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines.
  • Skill in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Adaptability:

  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving compliance landscapes and internal requirements.
  • Capacity to embrace and lead change in processes and controls.
