The added value provided by Eurecat accelerates innovation, reduces spending on scientific and technological infrastructures, reduces risks and provides specialized knowledge tailored to each company.Job descriptionThe Multimedia Technologies unit is formed by the Image and Audio research groups, as well as the Interactive Visualization development group.The Image group has expertise in applied research and development of computer vision technologies, including video processing, multi-view and 3D content. In particular, we have extensive experience of more than 10 years in applied artificial intelligence systems such as object detection and semantic segmentation for autonomous driving, monoscopic 360 depth estimation in audiovisual post-production, cross-modal generative models including video, or satellite imaging enhancement. It has participated in several international projects (Autopost, 3Flex, Möbius), national (Framework, Look4You, AI4ES), regional (ViVIM, Mironins) as well as in several projects for private clients.Eurecat wishes to incorporate into its Area of MULTIMEDIA TECHNOLOGY located in Barcelona aCOMPUTER VISION RESEARCHER ON AI FOR MULTIMEDIA APPLICATIONFUNCTIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Perform R&D tasks by implementing and solving variated Computer Vision problems for disparate applied sectors.
  • Participate in innovation projects for both private clients and consortiums with public funds.
  • Collaborate in drafting proposals and execute European R&D projects.
  • Report and present results derived from R&D tasks.

RequirementsKNOWLEDGE AND STUDIES:Candidates should have a degree on computer science or related field, in particular machine learning and ideally computer vision..EXPERIENCE:

  • Academic or professional experience in research or applied projects related with computer vision.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TFlow,..).
  • Advanced skills in Python, clean writing clean, code maintenance.
  • Other programming languages such as C++ or frameworks such as OpenCV will be valuated positively.
  • Linux companion and Git should be in your daily toolbox.
  • Proved background in developing tools in the Media, Culture, and Arts sector is also valuable.
