Job Purpose
The CONNECT Marketplace Director will be responsible for building the strategy, leading the development, and ensuring success of the digital marketplace of our CONNECT platform, that will provide to our customers a way to discover, learn and purchase the SaaS solutions and services of our ecosystem of partners. This role will coordinate with product managers, R&D, marketing, and business operations teams to ensure a seamless experience for our customers and integration of the marketplace to our CONNECT product and IT archecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketplaces, a deep understanding of the SaaS and MSP (Managed Services Providers) ecosystems, and a proven track record of developing successful online platforms.
Principal Accountabilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketplace strategy for the short and long term, building an execution plan with details goals, timelines and investment required.
- Build the commercial & monetization models to support the marketplace, and drive alignment with the partner programs and marketing activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement a user-friendly marketplace integrated to the CONNECT platform experience.
- Ensure a seamless integration of services and solutions into the marketplace.
- Engage with our customer and partner ecosystem for feedback and to accelerate growth.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience in marketplace development, SaaS and subscription business model
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Ability to navigate, facilitate and influence across senior stakeholders to establish buy-in and agreement
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of BI platforms, ERP and CRM applications required.
- Strong background in business analytics and critical thinking
- Knowledge of the latest marketplace technologies and platforms.
