Main Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the group Direct Delivery MEICA team, to include line management of discipline supervisors, weekly site allocation planning and scheduling, new hire resourcing and management of apprenticeship programs. Will require site visits nationwide. Management of the group Fleet / Plant sector in its entirety, including commercial planning and budgeting, fleet asset maintenance and reporting. Work closely with the Senior Asset Manager and fleet admin support to ensure the fleet and plant department is actively managed and maintained. Monitor and track the fleet/plant management strategy. Develop and present any adjustment to the fleet/plant management strategy including business cases for investment. Liaise with RSA to comply with relevant legislation and communicate to company fleet users. Work with company HSQE Department and fleet users to ensure the driver code of conduct policy is being adhered to. Work as part of a team to support the group, embracing the ethos of a “one team” culture. Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards, policies and procedures are always adhered to. Be involved in the growth and development of the company including expansion of the direct delivery model. Provide robust leadership and a sounding board for supporting site teams. Show an eagerness to learn and progress in your own career as well as the mentoring and training of more junior staff. Other duties as required from time to time. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential. MEICA trades management experience, especially in the water industry. Project / site install delivery/management background is desirable. Strong team leader & decision maker. Fleet/Plant management requires knowledge & understanding of the transport sector. Budgeting and assets planning/purchasing experience is desirable. An interest in developing a career within an industry-leading organisation. Ability to work as part of a team in project delivery and provide input at team meetings. Ability to use own initiative, problem solve and adjust as issues arise. Good working knowledge of MS packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
