Job description

Blue Arrow are looking for an efficient and experienced Project Manager with a background in construction to join their client in Inverness on a temporary basis.QUALIFICATIONS/RELEVANT INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Training undertaken within CDM regulations
• IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualified
• At least 5 years in a management or Project Management role within the building services/facilities field.
• HNC/D in either Mechanical/Electrical and or Project Management Qualifications
• A strong sense of teamwork
• A flexible and ‘can do’ approach to problem solving
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with customers and peers – in person, on the phone and in writing – in a professional and courteous manner
• Experience of effectively managing resources/sub-contractors both on and off site
• Proven commercial ability
• Proven project planning ability
• Strong customer service awareness
• Strong commercial awareness
• Able to manage through support team a number of key client projects at any one time
• Able to prioritise own workload and that of the team, either direct staff or supply partners
• Able to prepare works estimates and then control within these sums.
• Ability to work under own cognisance with a high-quality approach to work
• Ability to work under pressure within structured timescales.
• Ability to operate effective IT systems.
