This is an exciting time to join Bristol Dental School at our new clinical teaching facility. The role holder will play a key leadership role within the School, specifically contributing to leadership in restorative dentistry and delivery of the School’s research strategy. The role comes with Consultant Restorative Dentistry Sessions at Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust.
We are seeking outstanding individuals who have strong experience in academic restorative dentistry. The role holder will take part in developing education and delivering our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. This Pathway 1 post will require an individual with extensive experience of research that aligns with the School’s strategic priorities. There will be evidence of post-doctoral training, significant grant income and high-quality research outputs.
We are looking for well organised, enthusiastic individuals who have a keen interest in team training, and integrated teaching. You will be part of a strong cohesive team of enthusiastic staff. Applicants must be fully registered with the General Dental Council and hold BDS or equivalent, and a PhD or equivalent higher degree.
Posts are available substantively, full time or part-time/job share.
