The Role:

 

Oxfam in Indonesia is looking for a consultant or team for conducting synthesis study that will use the systematic review method combining and analyzing the results of year 1 studies answering the current context and status of baseline on WE For JET TOC. This study aims to provide a clear picture of the current state of WE For JET mission to have women and vulnerable group benefitted and lead a just and transformative energy transition that improves their wellbeing and livelihoods. This study is expected to contribute to informed decision-making and further advancements in the WE FOR JET project in the future.

We’re looking for a candidate who cares about Oxfam’s mission to end poverty and is personally aligned to our feminist principles and values of empowerment, accountability and inclusion in all you do.

 

The qualifications of this main consultant are:

  • The consultant or team should have experience in conducting similar assignment (documents reviews and context analysis) projects.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Well knowledge for climate change context, include mitigation and adaptation.
  • Familiarity with the Just Energy Transition, Unpaid Care Work and GEDSI issues.
  • Experience utilizing feminist MEAL principles and practices.
  • Experience working with international institutions, international NGOs, and local CSOs.
  • Ability to facilitate and relate to stakeholders at multiple levels and in diverse contexts.
  • Excellent language skills for writing and communication, both English and Indonesian.
  • Sensitivity to cultural and historical contexts in the data collection and analysis process.
  • Ability to comply with specific requirements and strict deadlines.
