We are looking for a Consumables (Single-Use) Technology Engineer for our PD SU Technology FMT Department.
This position is based in Aubagne (France).As subject matter expert for FMT consumables, you will lead Product Development projects or workpackages on new concepts, technologies, materials and products, in compliance with the objectives set and the ISO normative environment and the Product Development project management procedure.Grow with us – Your ResponsibilitiesManage in terms of objectives, quality, costs and deadlines Product development projects to develop new technology or platform or to provide a proven feasibility of a concept.Support the development and maintenance of products through extended knowledge of the performance requirements, including all aspects of the product design criteria, manufacturability, product function and customer needs.Support the rest of the organization when specific technical expertise is required, by documenting data, proposing technical solutions and participating in root cause analysis.Maintain a technology watch for FMT consumables key technologies.Support the organization’s intellectual property strategy by documenting data and independent, unique and patentable ideas that results from experimentations and concept generation activitiesEnsure a safe, healthy and environmentally-friendly workplace by observing Company’s procedures and corresponding regulationsWhat will convince usAcademic degree in Engineering or Science, Master degree preferredMinimum 5 years relevant experience in product design and development with a solid understanding of the product lifecycleAble to identify, break down and solve a variety of difficult technical problemsStrong aptitude for hands-on engineering testing and experimentation in a lab/shop environmentProactive and able to identify priorities to achieve end target in timeDisciplined and well-organized in documentation (plans, requirements, drawings, design reviews, and test methods)Experience working with ISO requirements and other relevant guidelines and regulationsKnowledge of statistical methods and analysisTeam player with good communication skills + Fluent in French and in EnglishAbout SartoriusSartorius is part of the solution in the fight against cancer, dementia, and many other diseases.
