JOB – Control Systems Engineer  
LOCATION – Leicestershire
TERM – Permanent 
SALARY – £40,000 – £70,000 (competitive depending on experience)  
 
A Leicestershire based engineering company are looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. 
 
The Control Systems Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: 

– HND of equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
– Strong background in Control Systems Engineering – modifications & commissioning.
– Good understanding of PLC softwares such as Allen-Bradley & Siemens.
– Good understanding of AutoCAD electrical drawing package.
– Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
– Strong communication skills.
– Full UK driving license is beneficial.

The Control Systems Engineer’s duties will involve:

– Developing the existing control systems for current & future projects.
– Producing electrical schematics & drawings for control panels.
– Involvement in R&D.
– Commissioning work before handover to customers.  
– Occasional attending site visits when required.
– Providing support on installations when required.
– Liaising with other departments to ensure requirements are met at all times.
– Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
