Robert Half is currently recruiting a Controller (m/v/x) to join an international group specialized in building materials.Our client is located in Antwerp.The finance team consists of 7 people.you will have complete controlling responsibility for one of the companies:

• Prepare and publish timely quarterly financial;
• statements (balance sheet and income statements);
• Make budget and financial forecasts and report variances on GL and cost accounting level;
• Coordinate and assist with the preparation of regulatory reporting including annual and periodic program review audits;
• Review a/r, a/p reporting in close collaboration with the sales department;
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting;
• Assist our CFO in planning financial transactions and cover currency risks;
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
• Be the first point of contact for human resource questions;
• Manage insurances, payroll and other personnel issues;
• Assist for recruitment of staff;
• Assist in the development of the personnel policy.

The requested qualifications for this job include:

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in accounting / finance;
• Relevant accounting / finance experience;
• Interest in human resources;
• Experience as (key) user with accounting software MS Dynamics Navision, Excel and Power BI will be helpful;
• Good verbal and written communication skills (mainly Dutch and English) and ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
