In this role, you will be responsible for supporting cost-out activities, maintaining productivity measurement tools, tracking cost-out initiatives, and facilitating cost-out and productivity review meetings. Your primary objective will be to identify and implement opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining or improving operational efficiency.Cost-Out Analysis and Tracking:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of cost reduction strategies and action plans.
  • Maintain and update productivity measurement tools and databases to track cost-out activities and ensure timely execution and achievement of cost out targets.
  • Analyze data and provide reports on cost-out initiatives, identifying trends, successes, and areas for improvement.

Cost-Out Meeting Preparation:

  • Prepare materials and presentations for cost-out and productivity review meetings.
  • Coordinate meeting schedules, agendas, and follow-up actions.
  • Facilitate discussions, document meeting minutes, and track action items to ensure accountability.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify process inefficiencies and bottlenecks that contribute to unnecessary costs.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve productivity.
  • Recommend and implement process changes to optimize cost efficiency and resource allocation.

Act as Scrum Master:

  • Facilitate the agile practices and principles for our cross-functional, international, and diverse cost-out team.
  • Guide and coach the team in implementing Scrum framework and agile methodologies.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment, encouraging effective communication, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Own Cost Reduction Projects:

  • As your expertise and knowledge grow, you will have the opportunity to lead your own cost reduction projects.
  • Identify areas for cost savings, develop project plans, and drive the implementation of cost reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success and track the impact of cost reduction efforts.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in cost management, process improvement, or related areas.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify cost reduction opportunities.
  • Proficiency in using productivity measurement tools, spreadsheets, and data analysis software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Diligence and a commitment to accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Business fluent in written and spoken English.
