Our services cover financial management, period-end closing, capital and lease accounting, credit and receivables, manufacturing finance, and divisional reporting, ensuring compliance for 263 reporting entities in 96 countries with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and providing assurance of financial integrity.The opportunityAs a Country Chief Accountant for Roche Bosnia you will coordinate with RSS (Roche Services & Solutions) Budapest Finance teams (Demand to Pay, Record to Report, Travel and Expense, Compliance) and execute month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate closure of accounts in compliance with the month-end close checklist.R2ROverseeing financial accuracy and internal controls, including ICFR documentation and tools management.Conducting balance sheet reconciliation, anomaly rectification, and ensuring timely and quality financial statement reporting / month-end closing, yearly reportingManaging accounting aspects such as IFRS 16 Leasing, manual journal entries, and management accounting activities.Supervising Accounts Receivables, including billings approval, debtors aging, and sales reporting accuracy.Handling cash flow management and treasury matters, including fund forecasting, transfers, and banking transactions.DtPHandling all accounts payable related mattersMaster DataManaging master data – Chart of Accounts, Cost Center, Profit Center. WBS, vendor & customer master data, UCI, etc.OtherOverseeing statutory tax calculations, reconciliation, reporting, and Tax Consultant liaison, alongside managing external financial auditsManaging financial compliance, internal controls on financial reportingServing as central contact for RSS Budapest Finance teams and Finance Managers in the affiliates, addressing financial issues, requests, and advisory needsWho you are:University education; preferably in Finance/Accounting related discipline, ACCA or other accounting professional qualifications will be an added advantage8 years of experience in a related field and at least 5 years in accountant / audit role and people management experienceKnowledge of accounting principles and practices; financial reporting, audit, and taxation, including local accounting principles as advantageProficiency in accounting software, preferably SAP and MS OfficeDemonstrates effective leadership abilities and advocacy, while empowering colleagues in decision-makingProven track record in relationship and stakeholder management across diverse groups, with strong negotiation and influencing skillsProficiency in English and Bosnian or Serbian or MacedonianIn exchange we provide you with:Development opportunities: Roche is rich in learning resources.
