You will report to Executive Vice President of Technical Development & Supply (TDS) and join the TDS leadership team and LEO Pharma’s extended global leadership team (eGLT).We are seeking a Vice President of Global Procurement to lead category management, sustainable procurement, and Accounts Payable. You will be responsible for developing and executing the Global Procurement strategy. You will develop and lead the global organization, ensuring compliance with global rules and processes, optimizing resource spending, and minimizing supply and supplier risks. The role also involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive sustainability and third-party compliance. The scope includes all areas of category management in LEO Pharma except procurement of IT and Clinical Studies.Your role

  • Define and execute an ambitious and comprehensive procurement strategy across all categories
  • Achieve Global Procurement performance targets aligned with LEO’s EBITDA goals
  • Lead the Global Procurement organization of 40+ employees with four direct leader reports
  • Demonstrate procurement value through analytics, negotiations, and supplier relationship management
  • Promote proactive planning of future procurement activities with business functions
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party business customers in collaboration with the business functions, ensuring requirements are met and maximizing value
  • Support LEO’s ESG ambitions, focusing on scope 3 sustainability targets and legislation compliance
  • Ensure compliance with Global Procurement Principle Procedure (GG_000167) and FDA 1083 supplier risk assessment requirements

Your qualificationsTo succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

  • Preferably a Master within Supply Chain Management, engineering or business administration
  • Extensive experience in global procurement and supply chain management
  • Several years’ experience from a highly regulated industry, preferable within the pharma industry
  • Proven track record in delivering procurement strategy, performance targets and financial contributions
  • Strong leadership skills, leading leaders in a global organization and able to collaborate effectively with various business functions
  • Great interpersonal- and communication skills, well-organized, consistent, and goal oriented
  • Possessing personal motivation, maintaining a constructive attitude, and willingly confronting difficulties during adversity
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and supplier relationship management capabilities
  • Experience in defining and executing comprehensive procurement strategies
  • Understanding of ESG targets and sustainability legislation
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements such as Global Procurement Principle Procedures and FDA supplier risk assessments
  • Ability to work with and manage relationships with third-party business customers and external experts
