Job Description:The Crisis Management Team is crucial in the governance and continuous development of the Crisis Management framework in the Danske Bank group. We provide professional support to the Group Level Crisis Response Organisation during crises, incidents and threats. You are expected to manage crises and severe disruptions in collaboration with your colleagues in Situation Management and the senior and executive management teams. Whether you have experience with crisis management or not, we hope you will read more below if you are interested. We are looking for a colleague with a great mindset and a collaborative approach!You will develop, deploy and ensure compliance with the Danske Bank Group Crisis Management Policy and related guidelines, aligning these with industry best practices and stakeholder expectations. Additionally, you will participate in horizon scanning activities to identify future developments and risks. You will also be creating best practice materials for business and country entities to develop their compliance programmes and much more.We are a team of 4 engaged people in an informal and good-humored work environment. The position is based in Aarhus, and with colleagues in Copenhagen and Vilnius, Lithuania, you will be part of a team of 14 colleagues in total.You will work standard business hours but are expected to work outside business hours if the situation demands.Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Local and Group crisis management teams in times of crisis
  • Support the deployment of the global CM policy, guidelines and good governance
  • Equip the team (wider Crisis Manager’s community), develop, advise and educate
  • Provide Crisis Management advisory, design and facilitate training and exercises on alert and escalation procedures as well as response and recovery plans
  • Provide subject matter knowledge and support to associated business resilience teams
  • Lead task forces and other ad hoc initiatives that are typically carried out across the organization at the request of management
  • Self-develop projects regarding the continuous improvement of Crisis Management as a capability to enforce the overall preparedness of Danske Bank.

A great matchExperience in Crisis Management, Business Continuity, or Operational Resilience is beneficial. However, the most crucial factor is your motivation and ambition to become a subject matter expert in Crisis Management and to start or continue your professional growth. In addition, we are looking for someone who can recognise themselves in the following:

  • Advanced English language skills with a previous experience working in an English-speaking environment
  • Problem-solving approach to obstacles and great communication skills
  • Experienced in conceptualizing complex agendas (dealing with uncertainty and a great deal of information) and quickly converting them into actions
  • Capable of steering and being in charge in meetings and stressful situations, ensuring everyone is up-to-date with information and roles and responsibilities
  • Self-driven, able to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Analytical approach with great negotiation skills
