As a Customer Care & Logistics Project Officer, you will analyse & review data and initiate customer care and logistics projects to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate satisfaction levels. As a people manager of a small team, you’ll ensure a smooth collaboration to reach our organizational objectives.   • You lead or participate in strategic, cross department (improvement) projects (cost/efficiency, service level, supply chain, sustainability, digitization, pricing…) such as projects to increase customer success, logistic projects, cost-to serve evaluations; S/4 Hana implementation; …
  • You identify opportunities (cost savings; efficiency projects within the customer care organisation), define action plan & implement changes, together with sales
  • You map, represent, defend and voice the CS/commercial & customer interests/ requirements
  • You develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • You create visibility regarding ambition/goals/requirements & achievements towards all internal stakeholders (incl local & group management); build credibility; actively seek support & work towards joined ownership.
  • You promote a service oriented mindset within the entire VDM organization
  • You support the customer care team while implementing the projects & make sure they are trained properly.
  • You act as a challenger in case of conflicting interests.

– Data analysis and reporting

  • You create data analysis and data models in PowerBi and excel.
  • You create & follow-up reports on KPI governance and ad hoc reporting.
  • You manage and address non-conformances with a proactive approach, ensuring an effective resolution.
  • By monitoring service levels meticulously, you ensure a timely and complete fulfilment of customer requirements.
  • You track sales and promotions granted to customers, maintaining a comprehensive record for analysis.
  • You analyze customer portal data to derive meaningful insights, contributing to informed decision making.
  • You create KPI’s, providing a comprehensive overview of team performance
  • You address ad hoc requirements promptly and effectively.

– Assess agreements drawn up by the customer

  • You check the feasibility (cost/complexity/risk) & provide input/feedback towards sales.
  • You monitor if the requirements mentioned in customer are met on a regular base & communicate the result of your findings internally

– People management

  • You manage the process; data & projects pillar within the customer care department: you will be leading, coaching & supporting a small team.

Are you the one we’re looking for?

  • You have a master degree or equivalent based on experience
  • You can interpret internal or external business issues to recommend and implement improvement proposals.
  • You possess analytical skills, enabling effective and accurate data analysis
  • You have a proactive mindset.
  • You have strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • You have experience in project management.
  • You have strong skills in Excel. Knowledge of SAP R3/APO/BW and PowerBI is a plus
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English and have a basic knowledge of French.
