As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business, information, and technology, helping our organisation make data-driven decisions.

• Identify organisational needs and translate them into effective information solutions
• Conduct interviews with stakeholders to gather and analyse data requirements
• Create validated requirements and specifications with appropriate quality and depth
• Prioritise tasks in collaboration with business teams and act as a point of contact for content-related queries
• Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data analytics platforms
• Analyse complex data sets using statistical methods and create comprehensive reports
• Design and develop data visualisations to communicate insights clearly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc education in IT or a related field
• Minimum of 2.5 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role
• Proficiency in data analysis, data design, and data modelling techniques
• Strong knowledge of relational algebra and database structures
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience with SQL; knowledge of Power BI is advantageous
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools
• Practical experience in developing and maintaining data systems
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly
• Fluency in Dutch (required) and English
• Experience with machine learning techniques is desirable
• Detail-oriented with a customer-focused approach
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for driving data-informed decisions

The area consists of five practices: Data Governance & Data Management, Data Visualization, Data Science & AI, Data Engineering & Data Migrations, and Spatial Intelligence. This area includes over 170 professionals, each working in the practice that best fits their expertise and interests.Our employees are known for their bold decisions and delivering results. You’ll collaborate with highly skilled professionals who are at the forefront of enterprise software solutions and innovation at Europe’s leading digital services provider.What we offer:

• A permanent contract and a gross monthly salary between €3,000 and €6,000 (based on a 40-hour workweek), depending on your experience and role;
• 8% holiday allowance;
• A generous mobility budget in the form of a lease plan with options such as an electric lease car with NS Business Card, a lease bike, or alternative transport that fits your way of commuting;
• 8% profit sharing on target (or a fixed bonus amount, depending on the role);
• 27 paid vacation days;
• A flex benefit budget of €1,800 per year, plus an additional percentage of your salary. This can be used for things like buying extra vacation days or increasing your pension contributions;
