Job description
We are seeking a Data Solutions Project Manager with expertise in Business Intelligence (BI), Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), and project management to lead data-driven initiatives. This role requires strong technical expertise in tools like Power BI, Snowflake, dbt, and Azure, along with project management skills to deliver business insights and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will excel in translating complex data into actionable business strategies and lead the execution of cross-functional projects.Key Responsibilities: * Project Management:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of BI and AI/ML projects using Power BI, Snowflake, dbt, and Azure.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless communication between technical and business teams.
- Monitor project milestones, adjust timelines as needed, and ensure successful project completion.
- Technical Expertise:
- Leverage Power BI for data visualization, Snowflake for data warehousing, dbt for data transformation, and Azure for cloud services.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable BI and AI/ML solutions on the Azure platform.
- Ensure that BI/AI/ML projects follow industry best practices and align with business goals.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring the business objectives are met through data-driven insights.
- Communicate technical concepts related to Power BI, Snowflake, dbt, and Azure in a business-friendly manner.
- Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to promote data-centric decision-making.
- Process Improvement:
- Drive process improvements for BI and AI/ML project delivery, optimizing workflows in Power BI, Snowflake, dbt, and Azure.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills:
- Strong project management skills with experience in Agile, Scrum, or similar methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI for data visualization, Snowflake for data warehousing, dbt for data transformations, and Azure for cloud-based solutions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, bridging technical and business teams.
- Expertise in data analysis, modeling, and AI/ML frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field; Master’s degree is a bonus.
- 5+ years of experience in BI, AI/ML, or data-centric roles.
- 3+ years of experience in project management.
- Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar frameworks is a plus.
