You will be accountable for your team’s performance and deliverables, as well as client expectations management, ensuring projects are accomplished on time, within budget, and within the agreed scope.As part of delivery governance duties, you will be exposed to customers’ management as well as executives, and you will take part in account development strategy shaping, building strong, professional relations with the client.Additionally, an important part of this role will be people leadership and contribution to our organization growth. You will be responsible for creating a satisfying working environment for your team members, supporting their career development plans, and keeping them motivated.ResponsibilitiesOversee end-to-end delivery for one of our accounts, managing technology, process, and people-related aspectsEstablish delivery governance on the project in accordance with the EPAM Quality Management SystemDefine team structure, necessary roles, and skillset with P&L awarenessAdopt best engineering practices to provide quality delivery and high productivityAssemble and manage your engineering team according to the given engagement modelManage the staffing process and support hiring in case of composing your team with external candidatesManage your team’s performance and overall delivery health with a data-driven approach, supported by selected metrics or KPIs relevant to your project engagement modelUnderstand the business context of your client and project, your key stakeholders, and manage their expectationsUnderstand not only what solution you are building for the customer but also why the customer needs it in the first placeOversee the architecture of build solutions, understand components, their technical capabilities and limitations, and be able to make key technical decisions to deliver flexible and sustainable solutionsAct as the client’s contact point for day-to-day delivery communication, deal with escalations, and support in conflict solvingEnsure project profitability, manage the CSAT processParticipate in the statement of work and customer proposals preparationEnsure delivery compliance with respective standards, policies, and regulations, including ISO, ISAE, and GDPR among othersMaintain the right balance between customer satisfaction and your team’s motivation in order to maintain sustainable long-term successful deliveryRequirementsExperience in IT project or program management, supervising complex delivery with multiple delivery streams. Experience delivering cloud solutionsPrior experience with a hands-on engineering role in any of the leading technologiesSoftware architecture and software engineering practices knowledgeAbility to drive technical discussions and cooperate with technically skilled and non-technical stakeholdersHands-on experience establishing delivery governance on the project, which means selection of delivery approach and tailoring required processes/workflows to execute the project within given constraints: scope, timeline, budget, quality, team, risks, and customer satisfactionUnderstanding and exposure to different software development methodologies (waterfall, agile, scaled agile, hybrid)Ability to design and tune an effective agile delivery process that serves the right purpose and fits an existing environmentExperience with data-driven delivery, establishing, monitoring, reporting, and taking actions based on delivery metrics relevant to a given engagement modelAbility to engage with the customer. Building and maintaining professional relations, understanding the customer’s organization needs, goals, and challenges is keyTaking leadership in solving all the questions on the project, no matter what kind they are – technical, infrastructure, HR, administrative – any kindExperience in people leadership, including motivation, performance, retention, and recognition management in your project. Knowing your team is essential to succeedStrong experience in presales, proposal writing, and sales pitchesPractical footprint in P&L management and ensuring project profitabilityExcellent communication skills; fluent spoken and written English, as well as B2-level Polish, is mandatoryDesire to grow AI-related experience, promoting AI-supported SDLC and AI-based solutions delivered for the customerWe offer/BenefitsWe gather like-minded people:
