Are you a recent graduate seeking an exciting hands-on learning opportunity within developing manufacturing processes? If yes, you might be one of the ten next graduates joining our Development Academy in Injectable Finished Products (IFP) Manufacturing Development (ManDev). 

About the area 

Novo Nordisk is currently embarking on an exciting mission to maximise and expand our production capacity globally, with the goal of delivering high-quality injectable medicines to our patients around the world. As a part of Product Supply, IFP ManDev plays a crucial role in this journey. IFP ManDev supports our global & local production sites by optimising and developing future manufacturing of injectables – while maintaining a high level of quality and compliance. The Development Academy is located in Denmark, but we are very open to international candidates as the majority of colleagues in the programee has come from abroad. The area employs +600 people, and your main place of work will be in Bagsværd in the Greater Copenhagen area.

The position 

We offer an exciting opportunity to obtain valuable insights and learnings within Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) critical activities and the future manufacturing processes. This is a challenging learning journey where you will receive on-the-job learning opportunities and a fast-track to key principles when working in a GMP regulated environment. 

The IFP ManDev Development Academy, is committed to providing you with a comprehensive learning experience that will prepare you for a position and rewarding career in IFP ManDev & Novo Nordisk. You will be a part of team that consists of ten highly qualified and engaged professionals who will take part in this journey.

The programme is structured around an intense onboarding month where you will receive initial training within the various disciplines related to manufacturing of pharmaceutical products. This is followed by two rotations within IFP ManDev and one of our IFP Sites in either Denmark, France, Brazil, US or China.

This journey will enable you to fast-track your career within pharmaceutical manufacturing and build a strong network across Novo Nordisk, Product Supply, IFP ManDev and our IFP production sites.

Within your rotations, you will be responsible for executing tasks and smaller projects as well as supporting in more complex cross-functional assignments. The scope and content of the projects vary according to ongoing activities across IFP ManDev and will be matched with your educational background and competencies. 

The practicalities: 

-The IFP ManDev Development Academy is designed as a fast-track learning journey to prepare you for a position in IFP ManDev
-It is a permanent full-time remunerated position. When approaching the end of the rotations, we will support you in transferring to your future position in IFP ManDev depending on your competences, business needs, and development wishes 
-Start date: 1 September 2024 
 

Qualifications 

We expect that: 

-You are newly graduated or about to graduate with a master’s degree level within a relevant life science education – e.g. Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Science, Engineering, Physics – with excellent results
-You may have experience from the pharmaceutical industry via your studies or student job 
-You are proactive with a strong focus on learning, open-minded and very curious by nature 
-You are good at communicating and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels across a global organisation 
-You are analytical and able to structure and cope with a lot of information and varied tasks 

-You possess strong intercultural skills and are fluent in both spoken and written English 
 

Information sessions

We will also have one of our graduates joining the session, providing you with first-hand insights and the chance to have your questions answered directly by someone currently enrolled in the programme.

Recruitment process 

Step 1 – mid April: Relevant candidates will be invited for an initial online interview. The candidates who are not invited for an interview will be notified by e-mail. 

Step 2 – early May: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an event, where they will take part in assessment day and get a chance to hear more about the Development Academy. The event will take place in Bagsværd, Denmark.

Step 3 – mid May: The final group of candidates will be invited for individual interviews where assessments & cases are a part of the interviews before positions are offered to selected candidates.

Step 4 – late May: Recruitment is finalised, and final decisions will be communicated to candidates.
