Specifically,Work with business and products teams to understand requirements, and translate them into technical needsDrive value from product prototyping to development, deployment, and optimizationDevelop, operate, and scale AI platforms based on requirements and design specifications using appropriate tools and technologies (following GitOps principles)Partner with peers within Digital, driving the continuous improvement of service processes, user experiences, and AI platforms and applicationsPropose and establish technical designs, patterns and best practices – actively contributing to the engineering communityConduct peer reviews for quality, consistency, and rigor for production level solutionsRemain up to date industry practices, company standards and emerging technologiesChart the course to daily releases for hundreds of products on dozens of technologies.About youKey Functional Requirements & Qualifications:You love working in agile cross-functional teams to solve complex data architecture and engineering problemsYou are curious, have excellent analytical capabilities, and have the drive to find solutions and strong problem-solving skillsYou have a solid understanding of agile concepts and development processesKey Technical Requirements & Qualifications:Education:PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or similar field with 3+ years of engineering experience, OR Master’s Degree in relevant domain with 6+ years of engineering experienceExperience:Expertise with public cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Expertise in agile development processes and DevOps methodology / best practices / patternsExpertise in managing cloud-native systems following GitOps principles (github, gitlab, terraform, CI/CD, Orchestration, Actions)Expertise with monitoring solutions (prometheus, splunk, grafana)Mentoring and/or technology evangelism/advocacyScaling and operations of containerized applications (kubernetes)Linux based operating systems and scripting languages (Python, Shell scripting)Data storage technologies (Object, structured, and unstructured) and knowledge of SQL and relational databases (AWS RDS)Languages:Fluent in EnglishWhy choose us?
