Job Description:We are seeking a people-focused DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering Manager to lead our Applications and Systems Management Team, drive operational excellence, foster community engagement, and cultivate a supportive and inclusive work environment. ASMT is a diverse group of admins, platform engineers and site reliability engineers. As the manager of this international team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of platforms and applications within our IT Application Org.You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our systems, as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our operational capabilitiesResponsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of administrators, platform engineers, and site reliability engineers.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our technical infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud environments.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Set clear performance objectives and provide regular feedback to team members to support their professional development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and resilient systems.
  • Develop and enforce operational policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and capacity constraints.
  • Champion the adoption of DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to improve deployment agility and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
  • Background in systems administration, network engineering, or cloud operations, with experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining complex infrastructure environments.
  • Expertise in incident management, problem-solving, and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Proficiency infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment automation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external partners.
