The Position

This intern position is an excellent opportunity to get to know APIs and to experience different work settings while collaborating alongside colleagues with various academic backgrounds and stakeholders.

In this position, you will:

– support the creation and analysis of process data using Manufacturing Intelligence platform tools and the subsequent generation of data visualizations,

– gain exposure to multiple data science and process analytics projects and tasks,

– learn about manufacturing processes, programming, and visualization tools such as PI Vision and Tableau on the job.

Moreover, you will improve your planning and analytic skills as you advance in your tasks, taking on more responsibility as you enhance your skills and grow in confidence.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, we are looking for a candidate with a passion for manufacturing, data analysis, and strong communication skills. Ideally, you are studying in your fourth semester of a bachelor’s degree in Data/Computer Science, Bio/Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. We expect you to have excellent English skills in both reading and writing, and the ability to take responsibility for complex tasks. Furthermore, you should:

– Be organized and pay attention to detail.

– Demonstrate personal initiative, flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.

– Have the ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities.

– Have strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teams.

– Know Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

About the Department

You will have the opportunity to join an expanding and international team of 8 people in Kalundborg, merging Science, Business, and Technology. The team consists of chemical engineers, data scientists, analysts, and robotics engineers. As part of PS API Business Support, our team works with large quantities of data from production systems, combining and analyzing them to create value in the production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. We work in close collaboration with stakeholders from production and business support functions.
