Section Head, Information and Knowledge Management ToolsWe’re seeking an experienced leader to join our Content Platforms group within the NATO Digital Workplace Centre (NDWC). You will drive digital transformation through our Content Platforms and Information Knowledge Management (IKM) tools, supporting critical Alliance activities including:· Decision-making and consultation;· Operations, missions, and exercises management;· Partnership development;· Threat response capabilities;Key Responsibilities:· Lead and manage the IKM Tools engineering team;· Design and implement solutions using Microsoft SharePoint and related technologies;· Engage with customers and stakeholders on projects ranging from outsourced initiatives to in-house solutions;· Provide technical leadership in solution architecture and delivery;Required Qualifications:· Strong people management and communication skills;· Expert knowledge of Modern Workplace solutions;· Extensive experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams implementations and customizations;· Track record of delivering code and configuration on SharePoint Server editions;· Proven ability to design hybrid solutions combining on-premises and cloud environments;· Experience integrating platform capabilities, custom code, and third-party software;· Working knowledge of Prince2, ITIL v4, scrum and DevOps practices;Daily Activities:Lead and manage section engineers and technicians including:· Define the profiles of the staff in the section, organize their selection and recruitment;· Create performance based contracts to outsource the work that cannot be fulfilled by the means of the available staff;· Allocate staff to Projects/Services based on business forecasts and on the team workload;· Provide technical expertise and resources to Project and Service Delivery managers;· Design solutions incorporating internal services and partner offerings;Support technical project lifecycle, including:Ø Contributing to statements of workØ Validating third-party deliverablesØ Managing DTAP environment integrationØ Coordinating problem-solving and root cause analysisWhat do we offer?
