Make your mark for patientsWe are looking for a Digital Pilot Plants Operations Lead who is innovative, proactive, and collaborative to join our CMC Development Digital Sciences team, based at our UCB campus in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.About the RoleYou will develop and deliver the vision and roadmap for Digital Operations of CMC Development Pilot Plants, ensuring efficient and seamless operations to deliver Drug Substance (DS) and Drug Product (DP) to projects and ultimately to patients in clinical trials, while securing structured and contextualized data.Who You Will Work WithYou will collaborate with clinical manufacturing and digital teams on the digital transformation of our pilot facilities with a focus on scalable and robust process operations, and smooth transitions to large scale.What You Will Do
- Develop and deliver the vision and roadmap for Digital Operations of CMC Development Pilot Plants.
- Deliver tangible benefits from solving business issues through integrated Digital Operations solutions.
- Identify new opportunities for value creating digital solutions, and drive developments to capture those.
- Manage Digital Pilot Plants Operations deployment projects (e.g. process historian, electronic batch records, manufacturing execution system).
- Act as CMC Development representative for relevant manufacturing solutions (local implementation and data).
Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:
- Master’s degree and at least 7 years of experience in Digital /Technology/IT, including consulting experience and proven leadership skills.
- “Can do” attitude and ability to work independently.
- Capability to drive change and navigate ambiguity in a corporate environment.
- Capacity to challenge established practices and processes when required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
