Digital Project Manager
6 months rolling contract
Daily rate: €500
Location: Dublin West – hybridWe are seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager for a contract position to support the specification, development, handover, and successful implementation of various projects for our client a leading consultancy company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT/Digitisation project management and be adept at managing complex digital projects on time and within budget.Your skills:

  • Third-level degree/post-graduate qualification in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronic Engineering.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2).
  • 5+ years proven experience working as a Digital Project Manager or in a similar role.
  • Experienced in project management principles including PRINCE2, Agile, and Waterfall.
  • Record of managing and delivering complex digital projects from project planning through to handover, on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in project reporting and documentation.
  • Strong leadership and management skills to foster high-functioning, productive, and engaged teams.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop specification of requirements for digital projects based on requirements, market research, and technological innovations.
  • Communicate project timelines and ensure timely delivery of milestones by the service provider.
  • Review project resources and analyze their suitability for the project’s demands.
  • Embed data privacy features and ensure compliance with accessibility requirements.
  • Manage system implementation, data migration, and procurement processes.
  • Identify, track, report, and mitigate project risks.
  • Manage the current database team and supplier, engaging at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Ensure projects adhere to established PMO frameworks and methodologies.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing and develop management reports with relevant KPIs.
  • Produce and present regular project update reports to senior management.
  • Project manage system updates and ensure software is up to date and secure.
  • Provide additional support as requested by the Director/Deputy Director.
