The Role

The Digital Media Workshop is looking to appoint a Digital Technician to support users across Knights Park and Penrhyn Road campuses. This role focusses on providing technical support for NCTJ exams, WordPress, reprographic, visual/audio content packages, and CAD. The post holder will work closely with Senior Technicians and Technical Manager supporting services and users of Digital Media Workshop and Journalism, while actively feeding into continuous service improvement processes.

The Person

Digital Media Workshop is seeking a motivated, attentive, and creative individual who possess exceptional organisation skills. You must have a pronounced understanding of digital design software and digital reprographic processes with the ability to convey concepts and instructions effectively to an audience with a dynamic range of experience and knowledge. You will be working both independently and as part of a team collaborating with technical and academic staff to support the realisation and output of ambitious work, and so must be able to communicate confidently and professionally with students, staff across all levels, and our external partners.

This is a full time, permanent position with a starting salary of £32,271 per annum.
