Digital Verification Engineer – High-Speed Optical Communication

My client is at the forefront of high-speed optical communication, specializing in gigabit and multi-gigabit transceiver solutions for automotive, industrial, and home networking applications. Their cutting-edge semiconductor technology enables ultra-fast, reliable data transmission over optical fibers, even in the most demanding environments.
As part of their continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Digital Verification Engineer to strengthen their Madrid-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on next-generation optical transceiver ICs and SoC designs, shaping the future of high-speed communication.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and execute verification plans for digital logic using SystemVerilog and standardized methodologies.
– Verify complex digital systems, integrating custom and standard IPs, microprocessor cores, and hierarchical memory subsystems.
– Contribute to top-level chip verification and modeling, ensuring functional correctness.
– Work closely with design teams to debug tests and refine design blocks.
– Define test specifications, verification plans, and manufacturing transfer processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
– Develop and maintain verification tools and infrastructure, driving efficiency and accuracy.
– Analyze coverage metrics and implement best verification practices.
Your Expertise:
– Experience verifying transceiver ICs and SoC designs.
– Proficiency in Verilog, SystemVerilog, SVA, and functional coverage.
– Familiarity with industry-standard simulators, revision control systems, and regression flows.
– Strong scripting skills (Python, Perl) and expertise in makefiles.
– Experience with low-power verification techniques and UPF flow.
– Knowledge of SoC standard interfaces (AHB, APB) and memory architectures.
What You’ll Need:
– MSc in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
– At least 3 years of experience in digital verification.
