They will be responsible for translating business decisions into financial outcomes and using financial and business insights to spar with and challenge the senior leadership. It is a global position, managing three regional FBPs, but the role is based out of our headquarters in Copenhagen.This Finance Leader will also work on initiatives to reduce complexity, establishing effective financial processes and further develop our key financial deliverables, including the budget, forecasts and monthly management reports. In this respect, they will work closely together with the Commercial Leadership and Global Finance teams to put these initiatives into action.The new FBP for Commercial will report to the Associate Vice President, Head of Finance Business Partnering joining a newly established FBP team.What you will be responsible forLead the Commercial Finance Business Partners, developing a motivated team who can work independently and provide effective and relevant support to SimCorp’s Commercial organisation and executive managementManage / contribute to Commercial Finance processes, e.g. forecasting, budgeting, driving and analysing the commercial pipeline, contract negotiations, scenario planning, commercial reporting, long term modelling etc.Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support key business decisionsSupport monthly management accounts and the board reporting packsSupport project analysis, validation of plans and ad-hoc requestsCo-operate with sales teams to customise deal structures to meet customers’ specific requirements and develop new business models to capture new business opportunitiesWhat we valueWe are looking for a motivated finance professional who:Can operate independently and advance own initiatives whilst collaborating across the finance organisationHas effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders at all levels at the same time, with an ability to present complex issues in a simple and structured approach, bridging Finance and BusinessWill be “hands on” as required, with solid Excel skills and has experience with Workday and Adaptive PlanningYour experience10+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on commercial, finance business partnering and financial controllingAn academic degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or similarPrevious experience with people management; remote management would be beneficial given you will be leading a global teamExperience from Tech/SaaS industry or a subscription based company is beneficial (focus on IFRS 15)Fluent in spoken and written EnglishNext stepsPlease send us your application in English via our career site as soon as possible, we process incoming applications continually.
