About the Role:

The Director, Global Invoice to Cash will lead our global Invoice to Cash function within Global Business Services (GBS). The successful leader will develop and manage the strategic agenda and operating model (people, process, and technology/ automation) design for our global invoice to cash capability, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and organizational objectives. The Director will fulfill a pivotal role in driving efficiency and effectiveness within our invoice to cash operations while delivering exceptional service to Boston Scientific’s global workforce.

Your Responsibilities Include:

-Lead a high-performing, customer-centric team responsible for Global Invoice to Cash Process Stewardship and Service Delivery.  Own the end-to-end global invoice to cash operating model (people, process, and technology/ automation) and service delivery. 
-Serve as a member of the GBS leadership team, helping shape GBS strategies and representing GBS with key business stakeholders across the region and/or function.
-Enhance customer experience by partnering with stakeholders to identify and provide solutions for desired current and future business outcomes.
-Develop and facilitate global invoice to cash Steering Committee of VPs and connect front, middle and back-office processes.
-Engage team by developing/ maintaining inclusive, collaborative, high performance culture by listening, coaching, and developing team members.  Promote a culture of outstanding service delivery and continuous improvement.
-May serve as Campus Site Leader for one of several GBS global strategic locations.
-Understand and incorporate industry best practices for invoice to cash processes and operations, incorporating the best industry solutions to meet enterprise needs.
-Ensure process-specific, stakeholder aligned key performance indicators (KPIs) are adhered to and engage in root cause analysis of performance issues when they arise.
-Develop and execute business plans, manage headcount/ budget/P&L, and contribute to the long-term strategy of the organization.
-Define/ execute strategy roadmap (including investment decisions) with key functional stakeholders for the global invoice to cash capability.
-Identify opportunities to increase GBS services to BSC organizations and sponsor related projects.
-Enable change by actively and visibly sponsoring projects; build sponsorship coalitions with peers and people leaders; and communicate directly with impacted team members
-Ensure the organization complies with all internal policies, legal regulations, internal controls, and audit guidelines.
 

What we are looking for:

Minimum Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
-10 years progressive invoice to cash/ shared services/ global business services experience with proven success in large multi-national company.
-10 years advancing people leadership; inspiring and developing team members to achieve their full potential in pursuit of development and organizational objectives.
-Proven international executive relationship management through collaboration and influence across reporting lines of key stakeholders to drive alignment.
-Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications:

-Advanced degree.
-Experience at the associate director level or higher.
