With a team of over 400 professional staff and 200 volunteers and a budget of €25m, Dublin Simon Community provides safe, supportive, high-quality services to over 6,000 people, through our care and professionalism.The Role: Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Management Team, the Director of Risk and Assurance plays a pivotal role in achieving the objectives from the current Dublin Simon Community Rolling Strategic Plan, and the creation and delivery for a revised Strategic Plan for 2025-2030 and beyond.The successful candidate will be responsible for will be responsible for the delivery, coordination, and management of business intelligence, risk management, and health & safety systems in Dublin Simon Community and Dundalk Simon Community.The purpose of this role is to ensure the creation of an infrastructure that will facilitate organizational adherence to best practice quality standards, risk management and compliance with regulation and legislation, evidenced by audit results, client satisfaction and illustration of adherence to best practice standards.The Person: The ideal candidate will bring a blend of communication, people and leadership skills together with experience of strategic planning, advocacy, financial and operational management.This role requires a leader who will collaborate and build strategic partnerships, demonstrating tenacity and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.Dublin Simon Community seeks an inspirational, passionate and compassionate leader to join the Executive Leadership Team who embodies dignity in provision of services and housing to people experiencing homelessness.
