For more information, please visit .VisionTo build innovative solutions that elevate school engagement.Summary of the RoleThe Director of Software Quality presents a unique opportunity to take ownership and establish the right quality processes, automation, and culture at Finalsite, delivering high-quality software products to schools worldwide. This key leadership role is responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive QA strategy that aligns with our company’s goals, overseeing the administration of quality tools and frameworks, and coordinating the collective efforts of our QA engineers across all teams. The Director of Software Quality plays a crucial role in ensuring that quality standards are met across the organization and its products. He fosters continuous improvement in processes, automation, and related culture throughout the organization.This role also requires a deep understanding of software quality assurance methodologies, extensive experience in managing teams, and the ability to drive initiatives in a SaaS environment. Finally, the Director of Software Quality collaborates closely with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality, security, and customer satisfaction.Location100% Remote – Anywhere within Poland – Our Poland office is located in Krakow (B2B Contract)Finalsite is a global company and to enable strong collaboration, we have established common core working hours. Candidates should be comfortable working from 10:00-19:00 CEST, with core working hours being 16:00-19:00 CESTEssential Functions:Develop and Maintain Quality Process and Program:

• Partner with and guide the members of the Product Engineering teams to create, apply, and improve the QA process.
• Enhance and oversee the implementation of test automation frameworks to ensure a high level of test coverage and reduce the need for manual testing efforts.
• Decrease the ratio of customer-raised and internally found defects.
• Coordinate and facilitate QA-related activities across all engineering teams to address the overall business needs related to quality.

Administer Quality Tools:

• Administer and maintain all quality-related tools, including test frameworks, devices, reporting tools, and other software used in the QA process.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies that could improve the QA process, and lead their implementation within the team.
• Ensure that the appropriate tools and resources are available and effectively utilized to meet testing and quality assurance needs.

Qualifications and Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a proven track record of leading QA and Engineering teams in a SaaS environment.
• Experience drastically improving the quality process and automation in the company.
• Experience in leading and mentoring QA across all teams in the organization, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Ability to develop and execute QA strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
• Proven ability to work effectively with product engineering, customer support, and other teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives, metrics, and SLA commitments.
