With the continuing growth of Broadband networks across the Asia Pacific region we are currently seeking to fill this senior position in the Asia Pacific Broadband business unit leadership team.

Reporting to and working closely with the Vice President Broadband APAC this person will focus on the development of short-term initiatives and long-term strategies to drive a step change in CommScope’s Broadband Business Unit position and performance in the Asia Pacific market. Key performance metrics include revenue growth, profitability, market share, new customer acquisition and brand recognition including technical and thought leadership.

The successful candidate will join the regional leadership team and will play a pivotal role in the organisation and will work closely with all functions including with regional sales leaders and their teams, marketing, PLM and engineering, channels and partner sales and sales operations across the region.  

Responsibilities and expectations include:

-Driving the annual LRP development process and progress monitoring
-Market analysis and sizing, market trends and competitor evaluation and analysis
-The development, measurement and reporting of the BU’s annual initiatives process.
-Business Performance and KPI’s both financial and non-financial including NPI development and progress.
-Market entry priorities and strategies
-Maintain, grow, and strengthen CommScope relationships and position in Strategic Accounts with and through CommScope sales and account teams and channel and business partners.
-Identify short/long term product development opportunities and objectives.
-Support strategic business development activities including negotiations when required.
-Represent the BU in strategic corporate programs and cross functional business initiatives.
-Lead discussions with business partners, in support of sales growth to develop core market positioning and align go to market strategies to drive revenue.
 

Required Qualification for consideration:

You will demonstrate strong global Engineering, Sales, and Business Development background with technical acuity and the following track record of experience in the telecommunications business:

-Minimum 15-20 years experience in telecom industry, preferably familiar with broadband market.
-Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
-A strong understanding of the sales process (both direct and indirect), sales cycles, and o

rganizational agility
-Market research proficiency, excellent analytical skills, the ability to analyze information to identify areas of opportunity to grow revenue in the region.
-Regional Travel will be required.
