Are you an experienced Certified Technician looking for new challenges in an ambitious and entrepreneurial environment?We are looking for new Dock Chief colleague to join us as soon as possible and take an important role as the responsible for our Part 145 in our facilities in Billund Denmark.Skyways Technics A/S is a Danish MRO focused on maintenance of regional aircrafts and components. We strive to constantly meet the customer’s requirements and maintain Skyways Technics A/S’ position as the preferred maintenance provider.Your principal responsibilitiesDock Chief:

• Managing the maintenance activities of the aircraft that he/she is assigned by Base Maintenance Manager.
• Receiving maintenance work package including scheduled maintenance tasks from Technical Services department for the aircraft that he is assigned and verifying for completeness.
• Ensuring the proper identification with a correct tag and proper storage of all the materials and components kept inside hangar area related with the assigned aircraft.
• Ensuring all necessary tools and ground support equipment required for the accomplishment of the maintenance tasks on the assigned aircraft are available to his/her team when required.
• Ensuring that his/her team has access to all required current maintenance data effective to the assigned aircraft.
• Ensuring availability of sufficient competent personnel to perform, supervise, inspect and certify the base maintenance work on the assigned aircraft by coordinating with Base Maintenance Manager.
• Managing the assigned maintenance team and assigning maintenance tasks to his/her maintenance team by considering the skills, authorisations, complex/critical maintenance tasks and human factors issues in base maintenance
• Paying more attention on critical/complex maintenance tasks and considering safety at all times in his team’s work.
• Ensuring that mechanics and other non-certifying staff working on the assigned aircraft receive adequate level of supervision by certifying staff.
• Ensuring that any external work raised during base maintenance for external contracted/subcontracted organisations are monitored and correctly accomplished on the assigned aircraft.
• Monitoring the work progress, ensuring that maintenance tasks are performed and certified in accordance with current effective maintenance data, MOE procedures and at the standards acceptable to authorities and Skyways Technics on the assigned aircraft.
• Coordinating any non-routine tasks and required resources (tools, materials, components, maintenance data) for their accomplishment with Technical Services department.
• Informing Technical Services department for any tasks to be deferred on the assigned aircraft, attending internal and customer meetings as required related with assigned aircraft, ensuring effective communication among his team especially for shift/task handovers.
• At the end of the check, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed and certified by appropriately authorized personnel on the assigned aircraft.
• Performing final inspection on the assigned aircraft after the accomplishment of the check to verify all the access panels are closed and aircraft is clear of any tools and excess materials, then issuing certificate of release to service.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

• 5 Years of relevant experience in a Part 145 aircraft maintenance environment, including 2 years
• of relevant administrative functions.
• B1 and/or B2 Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) with C category.
• Fluent in English, oral and written.
• Able to work structured, autonomous and good at decision making.
• Quality conscious.
• User of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general IT literacy.
• Ability to obtain permit to live and work in Denmark.
• Ability to obtain an Airport pass.
• Hold a valid drivers license.
