Adoc Talent Management
Job description
CompanyAdoc Talent Management is recruiting a Drug Discovery Scientist (M/F) for its client. Our client is a startup revolutionizing in silico approaches in drug discovery by creating a digital twin of the cell, using a combination of breakthrough technologies at the crossroads of artificial intelligence, systems engineering, and single-cell multi-omics data analysis. Collaborating with leaders in the pharmaceutical sector and top academic laboratories in the field, and following a successful funding round, the company is now strengthening its team by hiring a Drug Discovery Scientist (M/f).PositionAs a Drug Discovery Scientist (M/F) with strong expertise in deep learning, systems biology, and computational biology, particularly in single-cell analysis, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the drug discovery programs.Your primary focus will be on developing innovative computational methods for target identification, drug repurposing. You will actively contribute to building predictive models and knowledge graphs that bridge computational insights with practical applications in drug discovery. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced methods using deep learning and systems biology to identify novel drug targets. Additionally, you will create predictive models to discover new therapeutic uses for existing drugs by analyzing multi-omics and single-cell datasets. Your expertise will also support the development of patient stratification techniques by leveraging molecular and cellular profiles derived from single-cell analysis. You will be expected to play a central role in constructing and managing knowledge graphs, utilizing ontologies to enhance data integration, interpretation, and validation, particularly with the application of large language models (LLMs).Collaboration is key to this position: you will work closely with biologists, chemists, clinicians, and data scientists to apply computational findings effectively in practical and interdisciplinary settings.Furthermore, you will stay at the forefront of advancements in computational biology, deep learning, and systems biology, continuously incorporating the latest innovations into your work. Communication will be an essential part of your role, as you will need to present complex data and concepts clearly to both scientific and non-scientific audiences, ensuring that insights are effectively shared across diverse teams. Your contributions will directly support strategic objectives and innovation in the drug discovery pipelines. The position, which offers significant autonomy in its missions, is available immediately as a full-time permanent contract (CDI) in Paris. Remote work from another location within France or internationally is also possible.ProfileYou hold a Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Systems Biology, or a related field, with a strong background in developing computational methods for target identification. You have demonstrated expertise in leveraging deep learning and systems biology for drug discovery, with specific experience in foundation models and multi-omics data integration. With advanced knowledge in constructing and managing knowledge graphs using ontologies, you are skilled at validating data integration and interpretation through large language models (LLMs). You have also shown a proven ability to create innovative computational approaches for drug repurposing, patient stratification, and modeling biological systems, particularly in the context of single-cell analysis.Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R, you are well-versed in bioinformatics tools and libraries. Your ability to integrate and analyze diverse data types, alongside your experience in interdisciplinary teams, highlights your capacity to bridge computational and experimental insights effectively.Agile, proactive, and dynamic, you bring a strong sense of leadership and initiative to your projects. A confident communicator, you excel at working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, fostering productive interactions with both technical experts and non-specialists. Your strategic thinking, combined with extensive experience in project management and team leadership, enables you to define and execute complex data strategies in biotechnology or pharmaceutical settings.Fluent in English , you are well-equipped to thrive in a global and startup-oriented environment. Your autonomy, pragmatism, and strong organizational and time-management skills ensure that you can adapt to the fast-paced and evolving demands of drug discovery projects.Send your application (CV, list of publications, GitHub repository, motivations, and salary expectations) without delay to Adoc Talent Management!
