The University of Nottingham is looking to appoint 2 enthusiastic and motivated Level 3 Apprentice Early Years Practitioners This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and diverse team caring for children, between the ages of 4 months to 12 years, of University students and staff.

Working alongside colleagues in Childcare Services, you will be supported in your work and studies to develop exceptional practice within early years. You will learn from an experienced team of practitioners and with the support of supervisors and mentors put theory into practice.  

Along with a passion for high quality care and education for children, you will contribute to creating a warm, friendly and stimulating environment where children can develop emotionally, socially and educationally through one-to-one attention and group activities.  We have two settings located on the beautiful University Park campus with some stunning natural features, which also allows us to offer our forest school on the doorstep.

You will have a relevant Level 2 qualification as recognised by the Department for Education.  You will also have GCSE, or equivalent, maths and English Language at Level 4/Grade C or above.  It is a requirement of the post that a satisfactory enhanced disclosure is obtained and that all employment checks are met prior to employment.

The posts are offered on permanent, full time (39 hours per week) contracts. Working hours will be between Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 6.00 pm (shift system). An in-depth induction will support you in your role. Job share arrangements may be considered.
