Ecologist

BL Ecology Ltd is pleased to announce a vacancy for an ecologist role. We pride ourselves on

a week. The full time, permanent role will include a varied amount of field work and report
writing. We pride ourselves on being framework partners for clients which want to go over and
above, these include the Environment Agency, Yorkshire Water and Defence Estates.

We are looking for applicants who maybe want a change from larger consultancies or applicants
who want a change or to achieve the next step up the employment ladder.

Required:

• A good degree in ecology or similar based subject and working understanding of relevant
  legislation, planning policies and licensing regulations
• At least 2 years of consultancy (or relevant ecological) employment 
• CIEEM membership or eligible
• Full UK drivers licence and use of your own vehicle (mileage expenses paid)
• Good communication skills, specifically written English and report writing skills,
  assimilating ecological data and presenting relevant information well
• Proven report writing skills
